Welcome to Mutzie’s Kitchen — a little slice of Scotland right here in Michigan!
After decades in the corporate world, John and Liesel decided it was finally time to chase their dream: sharing their favorite family recipes (and a whole lot of love) with everyone who walks through our door.
John, our CEO and head taste-tester, grew up in Glasgow, Scotland. He’s bringing those cozy, traditional recipes straight from his homeland — including the classic Scottish Shepherd’s Pie that started it all.
Liesel, our COO and Detroit-born former teacher and trainer, knows this area inside and out. She makes sure our kitchen serves up flavors that feel like home while celebrating the community we love.
